Forrest Basics: A slower paced class focused on breathing awareness, form and alignment of basic postures and developing concentration skills. Appropriate for the beginner and for more experienced students to deepen their basic skills. Fluid Power: A blend of Forrest and vinyasa that explores the balance of strength and fluidity. A portion of the class will be set to music to inspire you! We will strengthen the core to support us in moving freely; lead off of the movements of sun salutations of all varieties; have loads of stress-reducing fun! Note: This class is suggested for students with yoga practice experience. Hatha Happy Hour: A fun, challenging, beginning level yoga class that will get your week started on the right foot. This class focuses on breath-work and basic postures that will strengthen and enliven your body and ends with a sweet savasana to unwind your mind. A soulful blend of yoga that will leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready for the week ahead! Core: Deepen your connection to your core with abdominal exercises, yoga postures and core balancing sequences. Develop core strength, balance and flexibility in abdominals, low back, glutes and thighs as well as improve your posture. Learn to live from a more centered place within. Core Flow: A vinyasa flow style class that incorporates core strengthening asanas and abdominals. Challenge and enjoy being in your body. Leave feeling light and centered. Vinaysa Flow: A free-flowing practice in which postures are dynamically linked through the breath in a progressive sequence. A balanced and challenging mind/body experience. Deep Flow: A slow and meditative vinyasa flow focusing on deeply releasing the core of the body, in particular the shoulders and hips. Increases strength and flexibility in the core of the body through breathwork and relaxed concentration. Deep Release: A focused inward journey to release deeply held muscular and mental tension. Bathe your body in breath and linger in poses longer while opening shoulders, hips and core. Therapeutic and delicious. Yin: Find an appropriate edge, get still and stay a while. Benefits the connective tissues and bones in their normal range of motion. Enhance and direct energy to the meridian system of the body for overall balance and well-being. Deeply nourishing on all levels. Includes brief meditation sitting. Great balance to more active styles of yoga practice. Yoga Basics: Designed for beginners. Emphasis is on alignment of postures and cultivation of breath awareness. Yoga Tune Up: An uplifting mid-week tune up with yoga! A fun, challenging, all levels yoga class that will strengthen and enliven your body and leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready for the rest of the week! Focuses on breath, core strength, alignment and skillful action. A soulful blend of yoga for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike! All Levels Basics: A class that covers fundamentals of breath and postures, designed to accommodate both the beginner and the experienced student. It’s slightly kicked up a notch from Yoga Basics, so that you will build confidence while meeting new challenges in your practice. Restorative Yoga: Savor the deep relaxation of restorative postures that utilize props such as bolsters, blankets and eye bags. Feel well supported as you lay back and relax. Restorative postures have the ability to help us to feel well-rested and nourished. Class will include breathing, beautiful music and mindfulness. Appropriate for all levels and is especially good when recovering from illness, injury, a stressful week or to balance out the more dynamic yoga practices. TGIF Yoga: Work out the week's tensions and prepare for a brighter weekend. Breathe and Stretch: An all levels class that guides the practitioner to the basic essence of yoga. Through yoga postures designed to lengthen muscles, open tight areas and guided breathing, you will feel the power of cultivating an inner sanctuary in this mid-week class. Meditation Class: A quiet, serene space to practice meditation with the support of a group setting. Class will include lecture/discussion on an aspect of meditation and short practice. Beginner's welcome. Please bring your own cushion if you have it and dress comfortably. |
